Troop/Venture Crew 137
Troop 137 began building grave mound decorations 10 years ago. At that time, grave mounds weren't very popular. The Scoutmaster thought that they might sell 10 or 20. Low and behold the demand outweighed the supply. The Troop sold the mounds for $10.00 each and made a good profit.
Today the Troop gets together around Thanksgiving time, spends a day cooking, eating and making grave mounds. Each year we make 100 to 120 grave mounds and sell them for $10.00 each. The demand still outweighs the supply and the profits of this "Lloyd Miller fund-raiser" allow the Troop to take the nice trips that have been mentioned on the Trips Page.
